Overview
Curiosity Stack is a Claude Cowork plugin for structured research thinking. This policy explains what data the plugin interacts with and how it is handled.
What data this plugin accesses
Local context file (curiosity-stack.local.md) During setup, you provide preferences including your research context, geography focus, themes, and a watchlist. This information is written to a file stored locally on your machine. It is read at the start of each session to personalise your experience. This file never leaves your machine unless you choose to share it.
Connected sources If you choose to connect external sources (Google Drive, Gmail, Notion, Slack, Airtable, and others), the plugin may read content from those sources during a session to surface relevant notes and prior research. This is done via Anthropic’s MCP connector infrastructure within Claude Cowork. The plugin does not store, transmit, or retain content from your connected sources beyond the active session.
Web research The India Proxy agent (/curiosity-stack:india-proxy) performs live web searches using Anthropic’s built-in web search tool. It accesses publicly available information only. No personal data is transmitted as part of these searches.
What data this plugin does NOT collect

This plugin does not track usage, sessions, or behaviour
This plugin does not access financial account information
This plugin does not store your connected source content beyond the active session
Third-party services
This plugin operates within Claude Cowork, which is a product of Anthropic. All data processing within sessions is subject to Anthropic’s Privacy Policy, available at anthropic.com/privacy.
Connections to external services (Google Drive, Notion, Gmail, etc.) are governed by those services’ respective privacy policies. The plugin author has no access to data exchanged between your Claude Cowork session and those services.
